This is a popular area for fishing, boating and picnicking. Nansen Wayside Area is made up of 14 acres, and also features the Nansen Ski Jump, a 170-foot steel frame structure that is the main landmark in the area. Located in Milan, NH.

Discover the Great North Woods at the Phillips Brook Backcountry Recreation Area. There are some amazing panoramic views ate the Whitcomb Mountain Firetower. The location is over 24,000 acres in size and vehicles are not permitted in the actual park. There is a lodge located in the park.
